Joya Helmuth, principal, is an accomplished graphic designer of print and electronic pieces. Through design, she solves a client’s communication issues by applying excellent and appropriate visuals to the desired message. She is also a violinist, calligrapher and avid reader. Joya has the education, experience, business acumen and well-grounded belief in best-practice marketing to find the correct balance between strategy and creative.

Joya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a double minor in design and music from Trinity Christian College, located just outside Chicago. She also studied in London, has had further training through the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and frequently attends conferences and workshops.

Before forming her own design studio in 1998, she served as a graphics coordinator at a South Bend-based advertising firm and co-supervised the prepress department at Keener Printing (now Rink Printing) in South Bend. Joya's work has been recognized by The Addys (American Advertising Federation), Graphic Design USA and the United States Postal Museum, and featured in Graphic Design USA and Letter Arts Review.
