Notre Dame Social Capital Conference

Conference Identity and Materials Mendoza College of Business University of Notre Dame Bringing in speakers from around the world, Professor Viva Bartkus was specific in her direction for the visuals for this conference, and it carried through from promotion to web graphics to all materials conference participants were given upon arrival and throughout the sessions. The graphics utilize transparency and hand-drawn elements to illustrate the concept of social capital, defined as 'the networks of relationships among people who live and work in a particular society, enabling that society to function effectively.' Special materials were also produced to promote the keynote address of Harvard professor and leader in the field of social capital, Robert Putnam.
